A Swedish-inspired tam featuring a braided band and colorful crown motif. Coordinates with the krona mittens.

Braided band is worked flat and seamed. Hat stitches are picked up from the band and worked in the row.

Pattern includes charts for cable and colorwork.

• 181 yds each color of Sport weight yarn, sample shown in Quince & Co. Chickadee in Carrie’s Yellow and Delft
• 16-inch circular needle, US 3 - 3.25mm and US 2 – 2.75 mm
• 30 stitches and 36 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
